MAR SUPPER SOAK PLUS-L

MAR SUPPER SOAK PLUS-L is a heavy duty, concentrated liquid alkaline soak cleaner for use on steel, zinc die-cast, copper and brass. MAR SUPPER SOAK PLUS-L is non-chelated and non-emulsifying.

Features:

Wide operating range.
Liquid concentrate.
Floats most water soluble oils extending cleaner life.
Finds application on a wide range of substrates including brass and castings.
Removes all soils and a wide range of oils and compounds.
Medium alkalinity, non-chelated and non-emulsifying product.

Equipment

Tanks: Steel tanks and equipment are suitable.
Heating and Cooling: Steel heaters and coils are suitable.
Agitation: Not required.
Ventilation: Consult local environmental agencies.

Operating Conditions:

	Optimum	Range
MAR SUPPER SOAK PLUS-L	15% BV	10 – 20% BV
Immersion Time:	5 minutes	3 to 7 minutes
Temperature:	175°F	140 to 200°F (60 to 95°C)

The concentration of MAR SUPPER SOAK PLUS-L is controlled by analysis.

Analysis Procedure:

Reagents:

Phenolphthalein Indicator
Standard 1.0 N Sulphuric Acid Solution

Procedure:

Pipette a 5 ml sample into a 250 ml Erlenmeyer flask and add 100ml D.I. water.
Add 5 drops phenolphthalein indicator.
Titrate with 1.0 N sulphuric acid to colourless.

Calculation:

(ml of 1.0 N Sulphuric Acid) X 3 = % BV MAR SUPPER SOAK PLUS-L.
